The 5th dissemination event of the TIMMOD project took place on 13th October in Batumi, Georgia. The event was organized by Project Partner 4 – LEPL National Environmental Agency and had the purpose to present the TIMMOD project in a nutshell in front of different stakeholders.
The main goals, activities, and expected results of the TIMMOD project were presented to a group of 30 participants from different stakeholder organizations, such as the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Batumi State Maritime Academy, Coast Guard Department, etc. The event was held in two parts. The first part included the greetings from the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, and a presentation on Advanced Hydro Environmental Numerical Instruments for Data Processing, Real-Time Monitoring and Prediction of Marine Conditions in the Black Sea given by the PP3, delivered by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). The second part of the event was the demonstration to the participants and testing in the open sea of the CTD buoy obtained within TIMMOd project.
The 6th Dissemination event is planned to take place in Batumi, during the forthcoming 2nd Phase of Pilot Project Surveys.
